Timeline

Project Description
In the joint project #Digitalkompetenz.nrw, four partner universities in North Rhine-Westphalia (the University of Bonn, RWTH Aachen University, TH Köln, and Hochschule Niederrhein) are developing an online self-assessment of digital competencies for students, faculty, and other university members. These multifaceted competencies include the ability to use digital tools, engage in digital communication and collaboration, and manage data effectively. A key project goal is to develop an online self-assessment that allows users to assess their digital skills, receive personalized feedback, and access information about suitable training opportunities. Central project milestones are (a) conducting a needs analysis for the different target groups who can benefit from the online self-assessment and feedback tools, (b) developing and testing the psychometric quality of the new online self-assessment, and (c) identifying suitable training opportunities for different target groups.
