Project Description
The project COLD, under the leadership of the German Institute for Adult Education (DIE), is funded within the framework of the funding program Cooperative Excellence with funds from the Leibniz Competition 2019. The project's main focus is assessing the professional competencies of teachers in schools and adult education when teaching German as a second language in linguistically heterogeneous learning groups. The project thus addresses the special demands on teaching and didactics that have arisen across educational sectors due to newly immigrated children, adolescents, and adults.
